RE-THINK has held annual beach-cleaning events in summer for years, there is no exception this year, of course.
To get to the destination, I left from home at noon, and had beef noodle in a restaurant I had not given a try yet.
On the way to the beach, clean river but I didn’t see any fish in it.
The sunshine was pretty passionate, just too much!!!
Took a leisure rest by the river, though there was a couple of kids yelling and playing in it.
Well, I don’t really think I was “volunteering". Instead, this seemed like a sightseeing trip, and I could do something great to the world/country at the same time, meet and chat with new friends.
It’s always pretty cool that people don’t know each other cooperate together.
At night, I rode to Ruifang and tried another bowl of beef noodle I had not experienced as dinner. After dinner, I joined the local people and enjoyed the outdoor Taiwanese opera, which is called “歌仔戲" in Chinese. It was really fun because I didn’t watch things like that for a long long while. The air was so peaceful and chill that I didn’t wanna leave for home!
Well, why should I think I was volunteering if the trip was so fun and genius?
Just do it for fun and enjoy.
